The Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance is proud to partner with local businesses in our community to featured gallery space. The Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance partners with over 7 local businesses to establish community galleries in an office space. Below is a list of our managed gallery spaces. If you are an artist or artist group interested in participating in a gallery rotation please fill out the below application for consideration. In November 2017, our organization will be expanding our Business Committee for the Arts efforts to the Statewide reach. We have forged a partnership with the Phoenix based MRA & Associates to help them transform their office space, into a work of art. MRA will dedicate wall space to feature local artists in a rotating effort.
MRA Associates is a boutique, registered investment advisor with large firm experience, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. They provide investment, wealth management, and tax compliance and consulting services to individuals and families, corporate retirement plans, endowments and foundations, and sovereign nations throughout the Western United States. The firm currently has more than $2 billion in assets under management and employs more than 40 professionals and support staff. MRA Associates has earned the prestigious CEFEX certification as an Investment Advisor. This is an independent assessment that recognizes that the firm adheres to the industry’s best fiduciary practices.
Exhibition Guidelines
- All submitted two dimensional artwork must be wired and ready to hang on a rod & hook hanging system in a gallery type setting. Please put wire hangers (horizontally) on the backs of all hanging artwork. Wire
should be placed no more than 1/3 of the way down from the top of the frame and pulled taut. Artwork that is not conducive to the rod & hook hanging system will not be hung in the gallery
space. - Size: Minimum = 12” x 12” (not including frame) Maximum = 72" x 72”
- Art must be original
- All artists must deliver their artwork to the gallery space on the designated hanging date, and pick up their artwork on the designated pick up date
- SAACA Staff assigned to hang artist 's work are not liable for any damage to the artwork, while in process of hanging the artwork
- Participants are to submit 10 PIECES to be considered as a featured artist in any gallery space
- If selected, artist must include image files (.jpg), URL or photocopy of each work for identification and review. Each image must be identified with title and artist's name
- Fill out all information on application.
- All artwork must hang for the entirety of the exhibition dates. If an art piece is sold, the artist must replace the artwork with a similar piece of artwork. SAACA will broker any sales for a 10% commission on artwork
- All participating artists must deliver and hang their artwork to the MRA Arizona (Main Office) at 3200 E. Camelback Road, Suite 300, Phoenix, AZ 85018.
- The approximate exhibition show will run from late September 2017 - January 2018, with a large Opening Art Exhibition Celebration and Opening Night Reception on October 5, 2017 at the MRA Offices.
- DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS SEPTEMBER 4, 2017.
- ART DROPOFF (DAY TBD) DURING THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 18,2017.
